In Matthew 6:13 Jesus teaches us to pray, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” This Sunday we will seek to better understand what it means to ask the Father not to lead us into temptation.
The primary strategy of Satan is to deceive; he is a deceiver by nature, so he tempts us by planting thoughts and/or feelings that are false. He lies to us about what will bring satisfaction and where true happiness is to be found.
How then does the Father deliver us?
