I am hoping to see many of you twice this weekend as we celebrate the saving work of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection on our behalf.
Our annual Good Friday Inter-church Communion service is being held at St. Vital EMC church at 2005 St. Mary’s Road, just north of Warde Ave. This years speaker will be Ralph Unger of Morrow Gospel and a team from Sterling Mennonite will lead us in worship. The service will begin at 10:30 am.
On Easter Sunday morning I invite you to journey, via the pages of scripture, to that first resurrection morning so many years ago. What do the sights and sounds as described by the eye witnesses have to say to us after all this time? Did Jesus really rise from the dead or have we fallen for the greatest hoax ever perpetrated? If not, why was he buried in a rich man’s tomb and what if any lessons are to be learned from this empty sepulcher?
Please join me for this special Easter sermon which I have entitled: “Meet Me At The Tomb”.
