Sunday October 21, 2012 at Dakota

This Sunday morning we will continue our walk through the book of Ephesians - delving further into Paul’s explanation of how this message of grace actually looks as it is lived out by believers in relationship with each other in the Church.

We have seen clearly that it is God who is the author of the diverse spiritual gifts given to the Body of Christ and that claims that the gifts no longer function are easily debunked scripturally. Now we are beginning to work our way through the gifts beginning with a study of the “five fold ministry gifts” seen in Ephesians 4:11

Are there still people occupying apostolic ministries today? If so what would be the identifying characteristics of such ministers/ministries? How would they, or would they not, differ from the original twelve? What about prophets and the prophetic gifts? Still operating or passed away? How serious is it to say, “Thus says the LORD” if He has not spoken?

Join me Sunday morning as we search for answers to these and many more questions in a sermon I have entitled: “Grace at Work 7 - Understanding Gifts and Service”
